General Elections are no less than festival in any country, and talking about India, you just cannot expect any bigger occasion, which is open for every single and sane citizen above 18 to participate in. This time it is being contested on certain major issues spearheaded by corruption, safety and security of citizens, and development among others. The elections commence from 7th of April 2014, and to know what is there in the fate of the nation, we have to wait till 2th of May 2014 when the electorates will cast their ballots and contribute in the selection of the new government in the 9th and final schedule. The final result will be announced on May 16th, 2014.
It would be interesting to see which of the three prime ministerial candidates - Narendra Modi (Bharatiya Janta Party), Rahul Gandhi (Indian National Congress) and Arvind Kejriwal (Aam Aadmi Party), will be the find of India Elections 2014 and lead their party to take the victory lap Furthermore, it would also be worthwhile to see whether it will be a majority government for a change or yet another coalition government with each of the leaders giving a distinctive expression and impression.
Just in case if you interested to know when you can Cast Your Vote in your constituency, you can get the detailed list of Election schedule from the Election Commision of India official website. Hats off to the ECI officials as they apply all their sweat and blood to make sure that this mega event passes off peacefully. This is just a small attempt on my part to make as many citizens aware about the election schedule at their place as possible so that they may know when they can practice their Right to Vote and bring about the much desired CHANGE.
